I qualified as a Charted Accountant and commenced practice as Gibson Green & Co and then went out in my own in 1991 as Alan Green & Co. I successfully grew that practice and merged it with Lock L.S.H to form Hayes Knight accountants in 2000.

I was the CEO of Hayes Knight SA, a practice employing more than 50 professionals, across a range of disciplines including accounting, marketing, insolvency and financial planning. In addition to leading the firm, I built a consulting practice helping SMEs in Adelaide and Darwin to grow and prosper.

Since starting AG Business Coaching in 2013, I’ve used combined experience in leadership and finance to help Adelaide businesses grow. To me, the numbers are important in business, very important, but so are people. So, I start by analysing your financial statements with you, as they tell a story about your business. But as a coach, it’s important I understanding the human side of your business too – getting to know you, your customers and your team.
